 “I’ve said this many times in the past and it still holds merit today, Nobody Loves Palestine any more than I do!!!! Our Palestine is so rich in history even going back to the War of 1812!! Many decedents of the original Palestine settlers still call Palestine home today!! Very few towns in Illinois can say their heritage goes back to the Regency period but we can!! Although our Regency period structures have over the years surrendered to Father Time we still have many fine Victorian era homes still proudly standing yet today!! 

It’s such an honor for me to hold the position of Mayor of Palestine!! I always welcome hearing from our citizens, no matter if it’s advice or a complaint my ears are open!!”
